Privacy Statement

This privacy statement applies to www.lightupyourtalent.com. Last updated: October 2026.

1Introduction

This is the Privacy Statement of Light Up Your Talent (LUYT). This document outlines how we collect, process, secure, and retain your personal data in strict compliance with the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR / Algemene Verordening Gegevensbescherming).

Light Up Your Talent (LUYT), Strevelsweg 700-303, 3083 AS Rotterdam, the Netherlands, KvK 54458331, is responsible for the processing of your personal data as described in this statement.

2Personal Data We Collect & Purpose

To perform our service agreements and run our daily business operations, LUYT only collects basic administrative and professional business contact context. We use your data for the following legitimate purposes:

  1. Service Delivery & Invoicing: Processing contract data to invoice corporate or private tracks.
  2. Operational Communication & Scheduling: Coordinating session calendars, workshop agendas, and consulting assignments.
    • Data collected via Contact Form: Name, email address and your message.
    • Data collected via Calendly: Name, email address, and meeting preferences.
    • Retention: We retain inquiry and scheduling data for 12 months after our last contact, unless a service agreement is signed.
  3. Assessment Administration: Creating specific user portal configurations to issue diagnostic platform links.
  4. Newsletters & Articles: If you sign up for our newsletter or article updates, we use your name and email address to send you business insights and professional updates. We only do this with your explicit consent (opt-in). You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in each email.

3Data Flow & Separation of Systems

  • Internal Storage (LUYT Systems): LUYT processes and retains basic client profiles (such as your name, professional title, corporate department, email address, phone number, and brief summaries of professional challenges/ambitions) strictly within our secure business environment via Microsoft Outlook and related business office applications, operating under Microsoft’s standard data processing agreements.
  • External Diagnostic Data (Third-Party Assessment Portals): LUYT does not process, host, or store raw psychometric answers, diagnostics, or final strength metrics on our local systems. To conduct assessments, participants are issued direct secure login configurations to external cloud ecosystems managed by independent vendors, Strengthscope and TalentPredix. All metric processing, profile generation, and personal user data retention rules are governed strictly by the dedicated Strengthscope Privacy Framework and the TalentPredix privacy policy.
  • Website & Forms (Cloud86 B.V.): Our website is built with WordPress and hosted by Cloud86 B.V. (Netherlands). Messages sent through our contact form are stored on Cloud86’s servers in the EU. Cloud86 processes this data on our behalf under a Data Processing Agreement (DPA).
  • Website Statistics (Koko Analytics): We count visits to our website anonymously with Koko Analytics, a WordPress plugin. It uses no cookies, and the statistics are stored on our own website at Cloud86. No visitor data is shared with other companies.
  • Scheduling (Calendly LLC): We use Calendly to manage appointments. Data transfers to Calendly (US) are protected via the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and approved Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) to ensure European privacy standards are fully met.

4Security Measures

LUYT takes appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data. Our website uses a secure, encrypted connection (TLS), and our business systems are protected with secure logins. If we offer online payments, these are handled by a certified payment provider. LUYT does not store payment card details.

5Sharing with Third Parties

LUYT will only provide your personal business data to third parties if it is strictly necessary for the execution of our direct contract with you (such as initiating your assessment profile on external portals) or to comply with a binding legal obligation under Dutch law.

6Retention & Your Rights

  • Retention Period: LUYT retains administrative customer profile documents only for the durations mandated by legal storage frameworks, such as the statutory 7 year administrative retention term required by the Dutch Tax Authority. Data that is no longer required is permanently destroyed.
  • Your Rights: Under GDPR guidelines, you have the right to inspect, correct, limit, or delete the data we hold regarding you at any time. You can submit an explicit verification request by emailing contact@lightupyourtalent.com. If you believe we have not handled your data correctly, you also have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
